Kris Marszalek is a technology entrepreneur, co-founder, and CEO of Crypto.com, a cryptocurrency exchange and payment platform. Marszalek spent much of his early life in Europe before moving to Asia to pursue his career in the tech industry
Marszalek has an extensive background in technology and business. In 2016, he founded Monaco to create a seamless and secure way to manage cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies through a single platform. Before his involvement in the crypto industry, Marszalek established Yiyi, a mobile application company based in Hong Kong, and Beecrazy, an e-commerce business. While Beecrazy was acquired by iBuy Group and rebranded as Ensogo, Marszalek continued serving as its chief operating officer.
In 2020, Crypto.com garnered widespread recognition following a series of global marketing campaigns and after Marszalek successfully obtained licenses for its crypto-backed debit cards to operate in various countries, including significant markets such as Canada and Australia. Furthermore, Crypto.com expanded its offerings to include decentralized finance by launching DeFi Swap, a decentralized exchange. By the end of 2020, Crypto.com had amassed 5 million users globally.
