Meltem Demirors

Meltem Demirors is a prominent investor, cryptocurrency proponent, and investment strategist in the United States. Demirors completed her undergraduate degree in Mathematical Economics from Rice University in Houston, Texas. She also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the MIT Sloan School of Management

After completing her MBA, Demirors worked as a management consultant at Accenture. She then worked for Digital Currency Group (DCG), a venture capital firm focused on the digital currency and blockchain space, where she served as the Director of Development. During her time at DCG, Demirors was responsible for managing the company's portfolio of investments and developing strategic partnerships with companies in the digital currency industry.

Meltem is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at CoinShares and a guest lecturer at the MIT Media Lab. She is also a Lecturer for Oxford's newest course on blockchain technology and a Member of the Global Future Council on Blockchain of the World Economic Forum. Previously, Meltem served as the Director of Development at Digital Currency Group (DCG) and worked at ExxonMobil and Deloitte Consulting.

In 2018, Demirors co-founded Athena Capital, a cryptocurrency investment firm. The company's mission is to provide clients with investment opportunities in digital assets and help cryptocurrency companies grow and succeed.
