TON Rises in Price Amid Notcoin's Success
As Notcoin is rapidly gaining momentum, the cryptocurrency TON has risen in price by 2.29% to $2.07 in the last 24 hours.
The TON ecosystem continues to strengthen its position thanks to the resounding success of Notcoin, based on the TON blockchain. In just one month, the simple clicker game has attracted more than 20 million users worldwide. The new trend in the Web3 gaming and cryptocurrency arena has caused a surge in activity on the TON blockchain. According to DeFiLlama, TON's TVL has continued to grow since the beginning of 2024, reaching the $18.23 million mark in February.

Notcoin appeared in November 2023 and quickly gained love among Telegram users, but the real impact on the entire TON ecosystem began in early 2024, when the game came out of beta testing. Organic growth of the user base and constant developer engagement led to Notcoin's strengthening position in the Web3 gaming industry. Meanwhile, the Notcoin game token is not yet on the market.
Notcoin activity had dropped a bit towards the end of January. The Open Builders team behind the development of Notcoin explained that this is quite normal. And in order to stay afloat, the developers began to stir up interest in the game in every possible way, releasing interactive tasks and Easter eggs, hinting at a possible soon listing of the coin. For example, among the recent updates is the new dragon skin to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Interestingly, the community is divided in speculation: some believe that the token will be listed on February 10, the day of the Lunar New Year celebration, while others continue to lean towards Notcoin's listing being scheduled for April 1.
Other blockchain ecosystems are also trying to repeat the Notcoin hype. For example, the NEAR network recently launched its own Telegram wallet with the ability to farm HOT coins through simple game interaction. Mining HOT is free, and the coin, like Notcoin, has not yet been listed on any exchange.
Going back to TON's reaction, the asset's price rose 2.29% to $2.07 in the last 24 hours.
