TVL of TON network Grew by 300% in a Month
TVL of TON network broke a new all-time high of $148 million. The growth for the month amounted to 300%. The TON ecosystem continues to attract more attention from the community recently.
According to DefiLlama, on April 18, 2024, the total blocked value of assets (TVL) in the TON network crossed the $161 million mark, reaching a new all-time high. This figure grew 300% in a month and tenfold in a year.
The leaders of TVL growth in the TON ecosystem were the liquid mining protocol Tonstakers and decentralized exchange STON.fi. Together, these projects boast a total value of blocked assets exceeding $283 million.
Along with TVL, the price of the cryptocurrency has also grown. Over the past 24 hours, TON rose by 18% and 87% for the month, breaking the $7 mark. This has also allowed the asset to once again surpass Dogecoin in terms of market capitalization and hit several all-time highs for the month.
The price maintains bullish signs amid the upcoming TOKEN2049 conference where Pavel Durov will speak. He is expected to announce an updated way to send cryptocurrency via Telegram's built-in wallet.

In addition, the community is expecting a major announcement regarding the collaboration between TON Society and artificial intelligence company HumanCode. A day earlier, the TON development team released a cryptic message hinting at a major announcement coming soon. The community is also speculating about the integration of USDT into the TON blockchain.
