The functional coin of the Theta framework, TFUEL, is the lifeblood that drives on-chain activities such as compensations to distributors for transmitting a video feed, or when executing or engaging with smart contracts. Distributors are rewarded with TFUEL for each video feed they transmit to other participants within the network. Theta Fuel can be likened to the protocol's "fuel".
